鎌倉橋の銃弾跡
1944年 日本本土市街地への空襲が始まる
鎌倉橋欄干には、1944年11月の米軍によろ爆撃と機銃掃射の際に受けた銃弾の跡が大小30個ほどあり、戦争の恐ろしさを今に伝えている。
The Kamakura bridge stone handrail bears about 30 bullets impacts of various sizes,which it received from machine-guns used during the night air-raids of the American
army on Japan's mainland cities in Novenber 1944. These traces convey us until now testimony of this dreadful time.
